What a wonderful day of storytelling, learning, and celebrating the writers who make our community so special!
On Saturday, October 10, Orange County Romance Writers gathered at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center for our annual
Celebration of Romance, welcoming members and guests both in person and virtually via Zoom.
Our featured speaker, bestselling romance author
Celeste Barclay, treated attendees to two engaging, information-packed presentations filled with practical insights and valuable advice for writers at every stage of their careers.
One of the highlights of the day was recognizing the talented authors in our
2026 Hearts in Ink Contest. Congratulations to all our winners and finalists! We're delighted to celebrate your creativity, dedication, and achievements.
The celebration also brought plenty of opportunities to reconnect with fellow writers, make new friends, exchange books, and enjoy some delicious food and raffle prizes. We were especially delighted to welcome attendees who traveled from as far away as Michigan and Wisconsin to join us!
Of course, events like these wouldn't be possible without the generosity and dedication of our board members, volunteers, and everyone who contributed raffle baskets, books, food, and their time. We are truly grateful for your support.
